Donate Zines to Queer Zine Library

There are many ways you can support and contribute to the library.

If you are a queer zine maker and you would like to donate your zines, you can do so by following the 3 steps below

If you are unsure if your zines are suitable for this library, please read our Collection Development Manifesto to find out what zines we collect and why. If you are still unsure, you can email us.

Fill out and submit our form

By filling out our form on this page, you are providing us with the information we need to catalogue your zines correctly. This is to ensure that we are giving you, the zine maker, autonomy in how your zine is collected, used, credited and displayed.

Send us your zines

Once we have received your completed form we will email you providing a postal address if necessary. Please remember that we are an unfunded, volunteer led library, and it may take us time to get back to you with this detail, but we are currently checking emails weekly.

If you are unable to send us physical copies of zines for any reason, that’s not a problem. If you would rather send us a pdf that we can print off, we are happy to do this instead.

Check our online catalogue

Once we have catalogued your zine/s, you can search for your zine/s via our online catalogue (unless you have told us not to). Once we have catalogued your zine, we will delete your contact details. Check our entry for your zine/s and if there is any information you would like us to amend, contact us.

Our online catalogue is used by people to search our collections and can help people find your zines. You can choose to opt out of the online catalogue and have your zine available in the physical library only if you prefer, by ticking 'No'. If you are sending us multiple zines and you only want some to be added online, please click 'Yes' and provide us with more information in the 'Title of your Zine/s' box below.

Queer Zine Library collects self-published material by LGBTQIA+ authors. This is inclusive of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Pansexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, Non-Binary, and all genders. Queer Zine Library doesn't collect zines by non-queer authors.
